Who we are

The GRCEssentials consortium consists of 7 partners from 5 EU countries: Cyprus, Greece, Bulgaria, Gemany and Hungary.

The consortium includes partners with different but acomplementary skills and spreads geographically from Central Europe to the most eastern island of Europe. There is diversity in the experiences of each partner and the specialized knowledge required to complete each intellectual output.

PCX Computers & Information Systems Ltd (Cyprus)

PCX Computers & Information Systems Ltd is a Cypriot SME, with high expertise in applying innovative technology solutions in education. It was established in 1998 in the beginning of educational reformation due to Technology and World Wide Web development.

As an ICT consulting company, PCX has the capacity and the knowledge to promote the benefits of the application of ICT solutions and the adoption of digital solutions at enterprise and educational level.

Its core business is focused on 3 main lines of expertise: 1) Consulting & Advising: Highly specialized services to support SMEs development; 2) Education & Training: Innovative training methods and tools, training materials and contents’ production on different areas of business development; 3) Specialised software development and web designing and development.

L.T. Synergy Ltd (Cyprus)

L.T. Synergy was established as a result of its founders’ view on the significance and positive effects of the application of proper corporate governance, risk and compliance (GRC) practices and principles, on organizations of all sizes.

L.T. Synergy works with companies as a partner, enabling them to identify long term synergies and interrelationships between their operating models and proper and actionable corporate governance practices, strengthening their innate ability to become efficient, effective, sustainable and adaptable. The company’s mission is to support organizations in their journey to transform and grow in their market and become better for their shareholders, stakeholders and society, by promoting the application of proper corporate governance, risk and compliance principles and practices.

SIGMA BUSINESS NETWORK (Greece)

SIGMA BUSINESS NETWORK (former TOURNIS SYMVOULEFTIKI EE) is a company legally established in 2008 but was the evolution of consulting firms that had started back in 1997. Since its establishment date, the company supports customers and projects in Europe, Greece, the Balkans, Cyprus and Middle East.

SIGMA BUSINESS NETWORK offers consulting services in the areas of Risk Management, Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy and Crisis Management. The company uses globally established Methodologies and Best Practices, customizing them to each Client’s (and Project’s) specific business and operational individualities. Its services cover end-to-end the needs of the companies SIGMA BUSINESS NETWORK serve, in relation to all parts of their operations.

EUROPEAN CENTER FOR QUALITY OOD – ECQ (Bulgaria)

European Center for Quality Ltd was founded in 2001 and specializes in 4 main fields:

+ Management consulting in the field of EU-funded projects
+ Design and delivery of training programmes for business entities and employees
+ Implementation of various initiatives linking the worlds of business and innovation with the education and training sectors
+ Development and implementation of international standards for quality management.

ECQ is experienced in training SME managers and employees in the application of different quality standards. Since its establishment ECQ Ltd. has developed, implemented and/or supported the realization of projects for more than 150 enterprises and more than 13 municipalities.
ECQ commits to the set of principles and values outlined in the “Code of Ethics for EU project management” for which ECQ is official signatory.

emcra GmbH (Germany)

emcra GmbH is a leading training and consulting company in the areas of national and European funding and in accompanying processes of change. Since 2002 organisations, societies, associations and public institutions have profited from the specialist expertise of emcra’s international team.

As a consulting company, emcra GmbH accompanies its clients to national and European funding, starting with project development through to funding applications and all the way to the successful implementation of funded projects. emcra uses internationally recognised project management standards and has been certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.

emcra maintains a focus on the entire organisation as it works alongside its clients helping them with the inherent challenges of change management. Its consulting work focuses on financing/funding, digital transformation, new inclusive leadership approaches, project management and risk management, and the implementation of international standards.

As an approved educational provider, emcra is also involved in vocational and adult education. Its learning opportunities are available throughout Europe and include classroom courses, online courses and a combination of the two (blended learning), as well as inpidually created educational products for clients. Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry – BCCI (Hungary)

BCCI is the largest chamber of commerce in Hungary, gathering small and medium size companies from the capital city.

The main role of BCCI is helping SMEs with the establishment of local market co-operations thus having a positive impact on growth and development of the entire economic sector, securing longterm turnover of the corporations, and ensuring the integrity of the market behaviour and economic activity for collective interests. Furthermore, BCCI is supporting SME in internationalisation processes.

BCCI offers support in access to SME market in Hungary, Budapest (largest cross-sectorial entrepreneurial target group in Hungary), up-to-date knowledge about Hungarian market opportunities and economic environment, identification of Hungarian business partners (matchmaking), consulting services in order to develop new busineses, building of long-term relationships with Hungarian companies and facilitation (development and implementation) in international projects.

BCCI is the founder and host chamber of the Danube Chambers of Commerce Association (DCCA), providing its headquarters, president, secretary general and the project coordinator. BCCI is also a pronounced representative of the EUSDR Steering Group Meetings, involved in PA8. BCCI is also a founder of Danube Region Vocational Education Cluster with other 15 organisations.

EUROPEAN INSPECTION & CERTIFICATION COMPANY- EUROCERT S.A. (Greece)

EUROCERT S.A. is an Independent Third Party Inspection and Certification Body with a National, European & International range of activities and broad range of scientific disciplines. It was founded in 1998 by Greek scientists with extensive experience in Audits and Inspections in Greece and abroad.
EUROCERT operates in the following areas:

1. Management Systems Certification
2. Certification of Products Requiring CE Marking
3. performing statutory periodic inspections of industrial items

It has a significant presence in the field of inspections in the field of Shipping, in the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Verification. Having the required know-how, it provides services of high quality and value.

EUROCERT is a Greek Certification Body accredited by ESYD – the National Accreditation System – for 45 services of audits, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS, Social Responsibility, HACCP, ISCC, Elevators and Pressure Equipment. EUROCERT is the first certification body in Greece to have been accredited by the National Accreditation System for Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001: 2008), Environmental Management (ISO 14001: 2004 KAI EMAS), Food Safety (ISO 22000:2005), Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001, ELOT 1801), Integrated Management (AGRO 2.1 & 2.2 and AGRO 3), ELOT 1429 Managing Proficiency, Good Agricultural Practice (GLOBALGAP V4) and by UKAS for the implementation of the IFS Protocols in Greece and as the Verification Body Emissions of Greenhouse Gases. It operates internationally in 25 countries with 300 auditors and 30 executives.

The company also operates as Academy, a training institution for professionals in Quality Systems and a Profession Certification Body.
